have a toy hiace super custom '94 with the 1kz-te,
the van just died couple minutes from work two days ago, it turns over but wont fire up at all, i cant get any diesel out of the injector pump to the injectors, i have disconected all the lines to the injectors and turned the motor over and over for a total time of 5min (over a period of 2days) and also pumping the prime to help. i have also applied 5v to the spill valve (which ticks) and also cranked for over 5 min worth, still no fuel leaving the pump to the injectors i have been told its electronic pump but i am sure it mechanical as it conects to the timing belt and if you take the top off the pump you can see a shaft and couple of springs moving as you turn it over also the numbers on the pump is 22100-67070. i have also done a error code check and it just flashes constantly which says is normal condition.
have i got a dog that wont start from air in the line they cant be that hard to get going or do i need to use some sort of tool to get the air out of the lines or maybe something else thats wrong any help would be grand as i am running out of ideas and dont want to spend $2000 for pump recon and find it might not need it

The 1KZ-TE has electronic injection.

Yes, you still have an injector pump that is driven off the cambelt, but a computer determines what injectors fire and when, and how much fuel will be injected at the time.

This is not a job for an amateur - if you aren't sure what you are doing you will end up with a very big repair bill.
