I have a 1991 deluxe extra cab 2wd manual pickup,
and the rear bumper is all dented up. It's just chrome looking.

Question 1: Will a 1990 toyota pickup bumper fit my 1991 pickup? 1990 bumper is chrome with black rubber padding on top of it and comes with the hardware and brackets. WIll there have to be any modifications done to it?

Question 2: I just installed a new stereo in my truck, after that the air conditioning lights don't work when i turn my headlights on. We cut one wire coming from the back of the stereo that was attached to a plastic connector that we couldn't figure out what it was. the only other wires connected to the plastic connector were going to rear speakers. What can i do to fix this?

The bumper should fit no problem. The 1989-1994 body style is all the same.

We cut a single black wire coming from the engine compartment that was connected with a plastic connector to the 4 rear speaker wires going to the back of the radio (My pickup didn't have any rear speakers though) - the only thing I can guess is that it was a ground wire.

* Can anyone tell me some reasons that the lights for the air conditioner would not be working?
The AC button still lights green, but none of the other lights for the air conditioner work.
