I understand that many people compare the 98-01 GS300 to the BMW's 528, but I haven't heard a comparsion to Acura's TL platform, which base engine claims to outperform the particularly the 98-01 GS300's engine. However if true that's probably in a straight line, I prefer my cars with a stiffer suspension or better handling on corners. <br><br>What I have found with both cars is that with the GS300s, dealers and private parties try rob, and attempt to sell their cars for the top(est) dollar, disregarding car guide prices or how much the market is willing to pay for the car. Here in MA they try to sell GS300 at GS400 prices! It's crazy, coz it's not like this GS300 are full loaded with the navigation like their GS400 counterparts. And the TL's tend to come with the Acura Navigation at no real addition cost. But that's what my experience has been like.<br><br>I have driven both cars and I think they both are superior in design, but I would like to know how one rates against the other. I am looking at both cars for a possible buy, I am coming from a Infiniti Q45 so I prefer a stiffer ride or handling, but I am trying to be reasonable and stay away from the V8 for a while. I don't drive a GS, so I can't tell you what I think, but looking at the resale value and maintenance Lexus makes more sense. I personally drive Lexus and I prefer it over other makes.
