First off I would like to say that I am asking for advice here.But I'm also willing to help out as best I can with others questions.

Now for my question.

My 01 Avalon v-6. Changing the timing belt.The book explains all the timing marks.But on the front cam sprocket.(closest to firewall)It says line the mark on the sprocket with the mark on the rear cover.At 12 o-clock.

It shows the same type of marks as the other sprocket 9In the book).And that side of the cover.But there arent any marks in the area of the cover mentioned for the front sprocket.Any ideas.

Do the marks on the belt line up somehow?
