Hello all,
My 02 Camry D/S Front bucket seat bracket is broke. I have a manual seat frame currently. I would like to know if a power seat bracket will bolt right into place, and also the wires that are under the seat now, will they adjust the new power seat?

Thanks,
Alex

The bracket itself will fit. As to the wires under the seat: It there a plug attached to that harness? If so, first check the fuse panel to see if there is a fuse inserted for the power seat. Probably not, so put one in. Then check the plug for power. If it's there, get a used power seat track with the switch mechanism; plug it in, and you should be OK. If there's no power, you'll need a wiring diagram to check it out. If there is no plug on the harness under the seat, then the harness has nothing to do with a power seat and you'd have to run wires to bring power in. Years ago I did the same thing with a Mazda MX6 I had. I'm 5'4" so I wanted the power seat to be able to raise the seat up. The harness was there so it took me about an hour to switch over. Good luck. Hy.
