I apologize if this question is a 'no-brainer' or if it's been asked numerous times. I'm a little lazy to search far and wide on this site - I'd rather just pop the question...

I recently purchased a Sienna and I wanted to confirm if it requires type ATF fluid for the brakes. And what that exactly is.
Would that be standard Automatic Transmission Fluid, or do I need to purchase it exclusively at the dealer?

Thanks for your help (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)

just take a second and check your manual.

I have a chevy truck and jeep, they take one Number brake fluid.
Van takes another and motorcycle, 4 wheeler takes another.

To expensive a system to just pour whatever into it.

DO NOT DEPEND ON SOME YOUNG KID AT AUTO PARTS STORE TO INSURE YOU BUY THE RIGHT STUFF!!!!

Power steer system, coolant systems and trans fluids are also different so be sure to use the right stuff.

Just my two cents!!!!

Stop you do not put ATF fluid in your brake fluid reservoir, they are 2 completely different fluids for 2 different systems!

Buy the correct DOT4 Brake Fluid for almost every vehicle on the market.
