I am sure this is on here somewhere but unfortunetly time is a fact and I haven't located it as of yet. So please be kind. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif) Have a 05 Tacoma Prerunner. Been happy with its performance for 2yrs now. Today I had to replace the battery because it left me stranded twice last week. Jumped off no problem. So this is what happened after I replaced the battery. Went to go crank it up and I recall after I turned the key I heard the engine crank over. I thought it was running but not until I turned the loud radio off did I relize it was not running. Too much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) yesterday at the bbq. Anyhow, I went to crank it again and got nothing. No noise, no click. I had interior lights on and that was all. I was not able to take the key out as well. Not until I did the follwoing would it come out. I disconnected the cables from the battery and cleaned off terminals thinking this might be the problem. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif) And of course it wasn't. I continued to connect and disconnect cables trying everything. Other key I have, doors open, doors closed, one shoe on, one shoe off......u name it. Had to take the horn fuse out because the neighbors were getting irritated with the sound ever time I put cables back on. Yes it has a inmobilized system installed. I tried everything I could think of except for the right solution. Which I am hoping to find today. Is it the starter? Or does it have to do with the security system shutting down for some reason? Appreciate the resonses.

Wow! Have to say, not too impressed with this forum. My motorcycle forum has much more action and helpful advice. Don't worry, I got it all worked out. Thanks for really...........nothing here. Guess I will be moving along.
