... totally impressed, i know i'm $pending more .... but, the wife is an Xtreme earth hugger. you gotta do what you gotta do...
I think a fair deal, 08Base, Pop+ pkg, Man Rear A/C, Carpet/Cargo Mat- 3Row Seating, CrossBars, Wheel Locks, Del Fee, Cypress Pearl, 36600. HybEscape would have been cheaper but the fit/finish is not even comparable.
Drove 120 Miles all freeway spds, 25.0 mpg. 40% Better than the 4.0/95Jeep GrChrk it is replacing. Once you get used to driving the hybrid way, then those few times that you need to go, you Really Do Go. My past / Current daily drivers, 5.0L mustang, 545i.. i am familiar with "giddy-up" motors.
CVT is incredible, pulls pulls pulls up the Sunol Grade, no fade..... 75mph rock hard steady. Freeway throttle manners, normal... like a non-hy. Considering a subtle backup beeper b/c it is silent in elec ops .... the parking lot pedestrian may appreciate this, and me too if you know what i mean. ITs not a 4wd, but for the past 14 years i dont think i needed the 4wd more than 5 or 6 time (read as: years). IT could be a majors mis-calculation on my part but with tire chains, and some common sense, i don't expect to get into real 4wd situations, i should be off the read if it's that bad.
Last toyota was a 79 Corrolla Hatchback (2.0R engine?) .... Bulletproof... But WOW, toyota fit/finish, design is all very impressive (... justification is a terrible thing.. ) .
Several 03/04 sequioa's in the family, they are larger, but the HyHi is pretty dang big, 19" wheel big. I do not have towing reqmts.
