I am going to get an 08 Rav4 4x4 3.5L in the Flint Mica. MSRP is roughly $28,575 and an invoice of $25,887. However the 2009 model will be coming out soon. The blue book value of the same rav4 but the 2007 year is roughly $26,795. So I am guessing that when the 2009 model rav4 comes out the 08 msrp would be similar to $26,795 because it will be a year old. Since the 2008 model is essentially one year old what would be a good starting price for negotiating. I would get a 2009 rav4 but my fiance graduate from school recently so she can get a thousand dollar rebate until the end of august, so we will buy it by the end of that time. Thanks for the help.
