I have caldina gt-t '98. There is a 12v/ 100v button to the bottom left of the steering colum. I am guessing this changes cigar lighter from 12v to 100v for appliances to run off. Is this correct or am I just 'wislin dixie'?
If someone out there knows please drop me a line. Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif)

Hello Souped

Now I can definatly help with this one

car has a 12V invertor which changes 12Volts D.C to 100Volts A.C

the plug socket is in the back ot the center console behind a cover.

it is a 2 pin U.S/jap style plug socket.

the switch does not change the voltage of the cig lighter

HTH
