Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and have a question for all of you. My husband and I have always owned Toys and this is the 1st time I have needed to ask for help. Whenever I drive my truck, I get maybe 4 miles down the road and it starts backfiring, skipping, the tack jumps from 1500-2000 rpm's and it just doesn't want to go...It doesn't do it when it is cold, only after it warms up...weird. My hubby is leaning towards it being the fuel filter, but why would it only do this when it is warm??? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mare

Hi, just a couple of things that come to mind. A bad mass airflow sensor or throtle body. If there is a check engine light on you may be able to take it to Autozone and have them find the code and get the part. These are just a guess as a failure with these parts can cause your vehicle to run poorly. Could please let us know what the fix was. Good luck and I hope it is something simple and easy on the wallet.
