Hey folks, I am new to this site and am hoping to find a little help.I am the proud owner of a 1990 Toyota 4x4,X-cab,V6 3l,5 speed. I really love my truck as it has got me thru everything with hardly any problems but recently my dash lights have started to go out, first one and then a second just days ago.I am okay with them going seeing as they are after all 19 years old and it is expected but I cannot figure out how to change them.Would anyone out there know how to do it without trial and error.Thanks.

I happen to have an instrument cluster right here. The light bulbs are held in by black knobs. You give them a quarter turn and the knob falls out with the light inside it. There is about a dozen smaller ones for the turn signals, check engine light, but they are smaller. The running light ones have a head the size of a nickel.

You have to remove the gauge cluster first (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Not really. I have reached up behind it and changed a few bulbs. It's not easy, that's for sure.
