I am thinking of selling my 1991 MR2. I am the second owner and have owned this car since Jan. 1994. It has 102K miles and runs and drives like new. It has every option Toyota offered at the time. It has not been modified and everything is original and works. It has never been wrecked and has no dents or defects that I know of. The color is a sort of teal. (blue/green depending on the light) It has black leather seats and they are in great shape. If you are interested in a car like this, this is about as good a one as you are going to find. I tried to attach a picture but I had no success. I have not advertised it as yet. Anybody interested?

Do you have any idea what you are going to ask for the car yet? I'd like to get a turbo and sell my 91 NA. Dale

Yeah Dale you might be able to get it before SE2002. That would be cool. Then I could take your butt out on the track and spank you. Just kidding. I like to talk smack sometimes even when I don't know if I could back it up. Where's Steve Hoult, I know I can take him! ;-) Joe Shutte jshut@... My Nautical Blue Metallic T IS for sale. It is a strong runner and has 24 tasteful mods. Anyone who has seen this car knows what pristine condition it is in and how anal I have been in its care.

You know this car more than anyone else probably, except for David G. $9800 puts you in the drivers seat proudly pulling into B'ham with a car that has a setup unlike any other, especially with the more rarer color. It has been in the garage under cover for most of the last year.

I just bought one today for 6500. The car is stock and is beautiful, but I think the turbo has some bad seals so I'm going to start saving for a T3/T4 combo like Shanes. After I finish swaping springs, rotors, rims off my previous 91 turbo and put it on the new 91 turbo, I'm going to be selling my previous 91 turbo for cheap to pay the loan off quick! Info on my previous car that is now up for sale! It is a 91 turbo black\black leather with all options. It has 158K. It burns 1 quart oil every 900 miles, but the engine compression is good so it's probably the turbo. Oil leaks around the top sides of engine and probably a few other places. ABS is not working. Bad wheel bearing (this is not causing the ABS problem and Shane has a spare wheel hub that I'm sure he'd be happy to sell you!), heater coil leaks (doesn't affect coolant level) and blows in antifreeze smell. The car shakes like it has arthritis from bad ball joints\worn rubber gromets when speeds go over 60. The previous owner wrecked the car and the paint is cracking from a bondo job next to T-tops on driver side. The paint also has big chips on the hood from rocks hitting it. Oh yea, no AC but most people don't use it that much when you have T-Tops! Due to the car being previously wrecked, the car is missing some plastic cover panels under the car and in the hood area. T-Tops leak, need some TLC. Wondering why I'm telling u all this, you need to know what you are buying/what you need to fix! The NADA value of the car is $5000, but I am selling it for $4900. Done lots of work done all around the engine, but the engine internals have not been touched (hadn't needed it). List of recent things done: alternator oxygen sensors all pulleys belts timing belt clutch has 40k on it, and is fine catylitic converters are removed and passed emissions in Nov. Tokiko 5 way adjustable struts new stereo, and 2 amps (240 watt pushing 4 speakers up front and 2 behind driver and 300 watt pushing 2 6'1/2 subs) sub enclosure built into car and still allows room for T-tops behind the seat. Keep in mind, that since the car is 11 years old that you can not get a conventional car loan so the interest rates will be higher.
