Hi. I am the Tonster from Moodus CT USA. I have a 1992 4Runner with a broken power antenna. The motor is working, but the antenna seems to be detacted and is broken. Does anyone have any advise on replacing it? I'm also considering using a stationary unit with a spring base. Thanks.

You can remove the base nut and then turn on the radio or if it has switch for the antenna use that to send it up while you pull out the mast and cable . Some of the old cable may be in the motor assembly. Take apart the case and remove broken cable. get a new mast from dealer or whoever sells them. We get them from a wholesaler. Slide cable down the shaft and then turn radio off or use switch to lower mast. It should catch, may take several tries. Install nut and run up and down a few times.
