Yes it is. The only real difference between the two vehicles is cosmetic, such as interior appearance ( trim work, seat and door materials, badging) and exterior ( taillights, grille, slight variation in shape of sheet metal) but under the skin...it's the same car. Information provided in the Toyota manual applies to the GEO version. I also suggest that you try to obtain a CD of the factory repair manual, ( on E-Bay) I did, and found it most helpful. I used to own both a '91 & a '92...great cars
