Hi all,

My name is Mark. I just got my car driving licence in September 2007. I got my first car in November 2007. It's a 1993 1.6 litre Toyota Corolla Manual... I love this car.... It's got lots of potential. I was very lucky to get a car with a good engine. The engine is still very smooth despite being almost 14 years old.

I was riding a motorcycle for the last 14 years. I have loved engines, bikes and cars all this while.

I am very interested in pimping up my Corolla. I recently changed my rims to a dark chrome set. Planning on putting on a mean bodykit, painting the whole car black, tinting the windows as dark as legally possible. Also planning to fix a gull wing spoiler on the boot. I'm also thinking of how to seal off the plastic strip that runs across the boot lid which matches the rear tailights. Hopefully, the car will turn out real mean and mysterious...

The previous owner did some modifications to the car already. Installed an AEM (huge-****) cold-air filter with a hose running down to the front bottom of the fender. Changed the rear drum brakes to disc brakes. I think he modified the exhaust pipe too cuz it has a really low, deep growl to it. Sounds real great! The car is a lot quicker than other Corollas too... but that's my biased opinion... HA!

Hoping to learn more about cars, especially the Corolla from this Forum. Hope to hear from you guys!

Take care,

Mark aka Blackblade900 (the name blackblade900 came from my two previous bikes. I used to own a Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird and a Honda CBR918 Fireblade 900)
