Ok lets start at the begining. I bought a 1993 Tercel 1.5L 4spd in May. Very Recently i bought a gauge cluster from a 1995 Paseo 1.5L automatic form our local junkyard. I did this so i could have a tachometer for obvious reasons. I had no problem mounting the cluster because it the same cluster jut from a Paseo. Now the probs begin with my fuel gauge. It worked perfectly b4 i changed the cluster but with the new one the gauge moved from where the tach is now, to the other side so the wires don't go where they are supposed to. My question is, Are the wires in a Tercel and a Paseo the same colors? Do the same colors operate the same things? The other prob i had was with the High Beam Indicator Light. It stayed on ALL the time. The car could be shut off with the keys out of it and the light still be on. The only time the light went out was when you turned the high beams ON. I fixed this prob for the time being by pulling the bulb out of the socket. My next question is, Why in the hell is this working backwards, do i have 2 wires switched now? If you have an answer for me just email me at tubas_on_fire@yahoo.com Thanks!
