To the Technical gu ru's. I have serious wiring problems. I have a 1987 Truck with a 1993 motor. There are several connectors not hooked up and the wiring looks like a nightmare. Now that it is turning colder my truck has touble starting early in the mornigs. I have traced it down to the fact that my cold start injector is not working due to wiring and it needs a injecter temp switch. I tested it with a direct wire from the battery and it works. Is it possible to rig a momintary switch in the cab to operate the cold start injector at the time of starting. Will it work or will there be problems? When should I hit the switch before or during starting? Thanks

I don't see why you could not have a button. But if you have the EFI setup, then it might be better just to connect up the right wire and let it handle it.
