Hey all,

Thanks up front for any info you can give me on this issue. So i found a 1994 4x4 P/U auto 3.0 needs some work but fires up and has only 114000 on it.
My questions are this, is the 3.0 a good motor or just a waist of $$, are there any commonly known problems with these motors. I trust you guys know more about this then me, any info or opinions is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Run away as fast as you can. The 3.0 is affectionately called the 3.slow in most Toyota communities... self-explanatory. It also has a history of blown head gaskets, in fact, there was a recall some time ago for it.
