this toyota is a money pit!! any way the vehicle has no spark after service station put in new coil and new distributor it still won't start. Now at another service station they tell me its the computer it did it 2 times before but started after. Now it turns over fine but won't catch. also this vihicle has california emmissions,
I'm in NY even worse. could it just be a short from computer to coil.

This actually isn't the first time that I have heard of someone having these issues with the 1995. Do a google search and you may be shocked at what you will find!

Could be a bad starter or starter contacts.

starter turns engine fine it just won't start even when sprayed with starter spray

I have the same problem with my 95 4runner. Replace all ignition parts.
Toyota mech came by and said it was short in mass air sensor that killed ecm and that is why no spark.
I ordered new ecm and mass air and will see. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunce.gif)

Mass air sensor short to ecm is a known problem with 95 6cyl engines
