At it's age, I'd ask if you have used any gas additivesto clean injectors et al? That may help boost the power a bit. At any rate, it's worth looking into.

a good mod you can do is the transmission fluid, have heard of royal purple or redline? I just got it for my truck and it has helped out, it reduces friction resulting in HP gains and better fuel economy. Don't expect huge gains but every little thing helps right, and this is something that is only good for you tranny. you can also get the same stuff for your motor oil, its a little over 7 bucks for a quart though.
