Car was offroad... once battery was charged it seems that it held charge ok but key fob will not work now and alarm goes off every time car is opened. I have viewed many posts on this topic. Many speak of an override/ valet switch in the footwell or under the dash, but after days of looking with the alarm blaring i cant find it. can someone please help me locate it... pics if possible.

thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem now. Did you ever figure out how to fix this?

I had the same problem with my 96 corolla, all I did was turn the engine over and the blaring is no more. Now it might be different if you have an after market alarm system. As for your FOB not working that sounds like it might be the battery or the receiver.
