Well I thought it was the starter so I took it out and had it tested at the parts store. They say the starter works fine. So where should I look next? The car is a manual transmisson, 300K miles, original clutch. I was thinking about the clutch switch, where you have to press the clutch inorder to get it to start. Battery is brand new. I think it is a good place to check. The same thing happened to my '91 Honda Civic with an automatic transmission. It was the faulty switch.
