Guys i have a 97 Corolla and the rack and pinoin was done by a local mechanic, family friend, because to get the part from the dealer it was 700 bucks.
So he had the part rebuilt but after taking it back to the place where they refurb it, the car still isnt good.
When i turn to the left or to the right, the steering locks. Its drivable and all but it locks and the wheels screech for no reason lol.
What can i do ?

Also, where can i get a trunk latch lock for my car. The trunk wont open.
