Hi All,

I drive a 1998 Prado 3.4, bought last year for 85K HK$, I traded in my 1997 Mit Galant and got 31K HK$ for it, not a bad deal. After getting the Prado, it started to have cold start problems. It takes around 5 seconds for it to start and black smoke come out from the exhaust with a lot of fuel smell. I have taken it to the mech and had the Engine cleaned up, new spark plugs but still the problem exist. Once started if i turn of the engine and re-start is no problem. Does anybody have any idea what may be the problem.
