Hi. I'm new here. I've got a 1998 Toyota Tacoma that I've had since 1999. I love it. It's had very few major issues. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

I have been having a problem with my heat though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frozen.gif) At first I thought that maybe I was going to have to replace my heater core...but by the grace of God, I don't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif) I've found that my problem is that the temperature control knob will not move the cables. I have manually opened my heater valve, and manually slid the lever under the dash to where I now have heat that will roast me out.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Is it electrical?...or do I just need to keep back tracking parts and cleaning them as I go? You'd be amazed how dirty things get under the dash....even if you keep your vehicle vacuumed.

Thanks,
Jaxzgirl
