i have a 1999 corolla that sat for 5 years when i went to start it the key wont turn it turns just a little bit then just locks and wont move any ideas......

Put a wrench on the front bolt in the crank pulley and see if you can turn it by hand. If not, then the engine is likely seized (rusted or worse). If it'll turn almost a full revolution back and forth, then there's something broken in one cylinder. ...likely a valve hitting the piston.
