I recently purchaced a 2000 4Runner with 95000K, it has the TRD package which includes a supercharger
K&n air filter and some other goodies. On my first trip towing my 3500 pound trailer it lost power going up a hill and blue smoke was coming out of the tail pipe. I pulled over and had it towed. I am thinking that a piston collapsed. The only thing I have done to this vechicle since buying it was I adjusted the throttle cable because there was too much free play on the gas pedal. My question is why would a fairly new truck like this blow its engine. Could it be that the super charger is making the fuel air mix too lean? please help
