This avalon starts and runs fine. On occasion after driving for 30+ miles, shutting down engine then restarting while engine is still hot: engine starts fine buts dies in a few seconds. This starting and dying will continue for 10 to 15 minutes then will start and run fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you,

foonman

I would check the fuel filter. Hope that helps :clap:Also I would check throttle body to see if the plate has a lot of carbon buildup and also pcv valve. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)
