My daughter-in-law has a 2001 Corolla that goes thru oil like crazy. There is never any puddled on the ground and there is no obvious blue smoke. There is some oil on the engine that appears to be new but not enough that it ever makes it to the ground.

Do these things have a historyt of using a lot of oil?? If so, what are the most common causes??
