I have a 2001 xls. The digital display that shows the average MPG is constantly changing. For example, sometimes it will read anything from 12.9 mpg to the 90's

your help is greatly appreciated!

I am sure..the display must be set for Instant economy...just press the display button once to change it to average economy and it will show correct average value for FE which will be refreshed once every 10 secs
