Hi,

newby here, just wante to know if anyone had a problem with their 4Runner climatisation....

I have a 2003, v8 with dual climatisation. For the past 18 months it has been acting up. We do not use air conditioning too much here in the NW but even when we select a temp (let say 65F) it does not work very well, it is kind of too cold, we need to crank up the heat to max to start getting warm. The other day we had some nice hot weather and when I selected the AC button, it started to blink. The ops manual suggest that there is something wrong with the AC. A further research provided me with information regarding the early model 4Runner having a low rating for air conditioning....

The car is scheduled for a trip to the dealer but I was wondering if anyone here had a similar problem and what was the problem.

Thank you.

Frederic
