Hi everyone, i am a newbie to the site.... I am so glad this site exists!!
I was wondering if anyone could shed a little light on something for me. I have a 2003 Prado Grande... fantastic car...beautiful!! Today l took her on the highway Gold Coast Queensland , Australia, I was travelling 100klm an hour, the revs sat at 2000. On the way home.... same highway same speed travelling and the revs sat on 3000!!! Why would this happen? I think it chews alot of fuel when this happens......anyone out there got any info that could help me explain it to the mechanic??
Cheers

Troy

Strika, If you're lucky and like me, its the OD switch. I am forever both using and forgetting it especially in daylight. Alternatly Shell Oil has been prospecting for more oil here in Alaska I am hoping my stock purchase will offset my fuel consumption.
