I looked at the 2007 5.7, but 40K for a monster that I can't even get into my garage - I don't think so. I am 5' 11" and I can't even see over the tailgate of a 2007. I couldn't figure how to load the dogs into the bed 0f a 2007 without an escalator so I ended up with a very nice used 2005 double cab that actually fits in my garage (barely).
