2004 Rav4 Traction, Tires Spin in First Gear

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 2-May 08 Member No.: 11,143 Drives: 2004 Rav4 Location: Texas	I have a 2004 RAV4 with a standard transmission, and it is almost impossible not to spin the tires in first gear. Other than driving like my dad, any suggestions?
