I have had a 2005 Sequoia for about 4 months. Recently if the vehicle sits for more than a day it doesn't start. I went to an auto parts store to get a new battery and was told it is not the battery something must be drawing on it. I left without a battery or a solution. I have been reading a lot on new cars coming with poor quality batteries. Am I wrong thinking simply replacing the battery is the solution to this problem. It is the original battery

Hello, Do you still have the problem with the starting? We just traded in our 2006 Sequoia because they could not find the problem with the car not wanting to start ....Had it towed in 4 times, and they replaced the batteries...It was an ongoing problem and probably jump started over 50 times, and I am not kidding... We just got fed up and Toyota would not help. So we now have a brand new Subaru Tribeca...Love it and hope it is not a lemon...We only had 19,006 miles onor Totyoa...Hope that your smarter than we were...and if it is electrical get rid of it..I do miss the Sequoia but so far our new ride gives us pleasure and always starts...
