A few month ago, I bought '05 Sienna. I drove it for a couple of weeks and I noticed rattling sound just behind the driver side. I took it in, and they said it was due to a bad pillar. They fixed it, but it still rattled. I went back again, and they said that the rattle noise is coming from the back sliding door. Well, they said they tried fixing it. Well, it still rattles. They said they will have a coporate representitive take a look at it, and I am still waiting.

Anybody here having similar problems like mine?

I have a 2004 Sienna LE and have had a similiar problem. The first time we took it to the dealer they adjusted the left sliding door and that seemed to work. Within the past few months I have noticed that it comes and goes. When you find something out from the corporate rep. let me know what they find out.

It seems like alot of people are having this same problem with the doors. I am currently looking for a van, and think I may cross this one of the list.

I had a close friend of mine that had a Sienna like that it started rattling but she had been doing a lot of long distant driving. Good luck with your Sienna.

We have loved our 98 sienna van but have had back door driver side rattling problems from day 1 (we bought it new). Dealer said it wasn't "packed" enough with grease, repacked it and it was ok for a short time. Dealer said Toyota was aware of the problem and "they were working on it". Sounds like they haven't figured it out in 10 yrs.
:( It can be annoying for sure; most often we just tune it out with music. We've loved the van tho and have done many long trips in it. 10 yrs. later it still runs great and only little things have gone wrong...a light out, etc.
