My rear DVD player audio volume level to the FM stations is very low and has alot of interferrence. From testing it with a scanner the signal is strong near the rear wheelwell. but, not strong at all near the front antenna area. anyone been able to solve this? possibly an adjustment to increase output signal strength on the player unit?

Go into setup mood through the dvd player. There you can change the FM frequency. Set to low number 87.7 to 88.3 make sure the frequency has no terestral radio stations. should work. Perhaps check on the fader switch in stereo setup.

thanks for the reply - I did try changing the freq. however, the dealer actually found the answer: they suggest keeping the actual height of the radio antenna low using the adjustment near the stearing column. this will only allow the weaker/closer signals to be received and keep the stronger ones from over powering the DVD player output.
