I have had this 2006 RAV4 Sport for 7 days. It is a certified used car. The P/S (power steering) light comes on and it's almost impossible to steer. Then it just starts working again. I called the dealer & they're going to check it out for me, but has anybody else had a problem with this electronic power steering system?

Other than that I love this car. I am disappointed in a problem so soon though.

not a mechanic here..but.. sounds like you might have a bad ground..good thing dealer's gona check it out .. hopefully for free ^^

Were they able to fix your power steering issue? I've had this same car for about 8 months now and it's happed to me twice.
