I've seen an illustration (cut-off) on the Edmunds site, but not much more. All I see is that they've drawn on some ideas from one of their concept vehicles and that it should be out in Fall 2006. I did run across a technical drawing in a search I made a couple of weeks ago, but can't find that illustration any more. Any success or suggestions on your end?

I would also like to hear about this vehicle, especially how it is when it comes to rolling over in a crash. Does the '07 have something that helps with this tendency on SUV's?

From everything I have heard/read... the 2007 Highlander is very similar to the 2006. Toyota made a mild exterior update and added some additional standard safety equipment.

Now, I have seen one photo of the 2008 Highlander. It is still very much a concept car, so it seems.

As for rollovers... from the research I've done in the past, the Highlander did well on the rollover safety tests. I wonder since the Highlander is on a car base, it is less likely to roll. Not sure on this one.

If a rollover does occur, the side impact airbags have a sensor so they remain inflated for several seconds to reduce injury.

Since I'd heard great things about the 2006 Highlander... I would think the 2007 Highlander will be great as well!
