Hows it going everyone? so i have a 2007 Tacoma 4.0 v6 ext cab short bed i put 32in tiers with a little lift and it was running good then i wanted some more power so i got a few upgrades. I noticed once i put on my new 77 series K&N filter system and AFE throttle body spacer today it started bogging when i stomped on it at a dead stop and it would bog up in till it hits the high rpm's but it still doesn't have the same power still or more like it should. i had the tiers for just over 9,000 miles and at a dead stop it would chirp them before the filter and spacer i check all the vacuum lines and sensor they are all hooked up so you guys have any ideas?? i was thinking maby it needed a better exhaust system to help get that extra air out that its bring in?? any info will help
Thanks
Mike

First of all, I think the K&N gunked up your MAF sensor from the oils on the filter. Get that cleaned and see what happens. Two, get rid of the TB spacer, it does nothing for a fuel injected vehicle like the Taco. See if those 2 things won't help solve your problem. If it doesn't then look into an exhaust system.

The only proven ways of getting HP is to slap on a supercharger or a turbo. All this nickel and dime stuff will just empty your wallet without ever seeing anything positive from it.

There's not a DIY online anywhere I don't think. Go to your auto parts store and pick up some CRC Mass Airflow Sensor Cleaner:

Take off the airflow sensor carefully and spray down the wires in the sensor liberally. Don't be afraid to use the stuff, the more the better. Let it dry off completely and re-install. Never ever touch the wires with your fingers or a Q-Tip, the sensor wires are highly sensitive and will cost you an arm and a leg to replace one.

Mike, if worst comes to worst, go back to stock and save your money to get a supercharger.
