I have been looking at 2008 tacoma's to replace my old truck. I often carry a canoe presently on my old truck with homemade wooden racks which go into the holes on the box's walls. I noticed that the bed liners of tacoma's do not have any knockouts so you can insert wooden homemade posts (for canoe rack) into the bed/box's walls. Is there a way to rectify this problem or saw openings so you can install posts for racks into the box's wall ?

I see there are no replies to this yet. I'm interested in putting a kayak carrier on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner too, and I would hate to cut up that nice composite bedliner. Gotta keep looking for options, I think. If anyone has any advice, please share. Tom
