I followed the instructions in the owner's manual to change the auto lock feature from lock/unlock in park/drive to unlock when driver opens the door. It's not working and I think there may be a step missing. Can anyone assist? I even called Toyota and they couldn't figure it out either.

Did you ever find out how to do this reprogramming thing? I tried doing what is in the manual and can't get it the way I want.
