I want to add a trailer hitch with a 1.25" receiver to my 2009 Matrix S model, so that I can add a bike rack. Does anyone have experience or a recommendation on a good quality hitch to fit this model Matrix? Installation looks simple, looks like the hitch can bolt on directly to the frame in a matter of minutes. However, the X and XRS models have the lower body trim. Is there a hitch that installs leaving the trim intact, or is it required to cut away part of the body trim?
