Up here [canada] all corollas are pre wired for XM radio, BUT, they want a fortune for the radio..Is it worth the price? Can you add the XM by buying an aftermarket tuner for the car? Ideas appreciated

You will need to look at the wiring to determine what kind of connectors they use and check with XM radio suppliers and figure out if they make a wiring harness to connect up to your factory wiring. Also look into mounting the tuner.

XM Tuner for $179. Fit kit for $66. You will need both.

You can install it yourself. EASY 30min install for a NOVICE. Installs in trunk and hooks up to factory plugs already there.

Install PDF:

Do it yourself and SAVE.

XM is $12/month.
