hello fans, can anyone please tell me how to remove the front disc brake rotor axle nut lock, so that I can remove the rotor for turning? The nut is different from anything I have seen before,it seems to crimped to lock it in place instead of the old cotter pin design. Where can I purchase a tool to do this work?

I was looking for the same thing for my 2001 Sienna, and found for 2002 and newer it takes a 30MM deep socket and special tool to "open" the crimp so you don't ruin the axle spindle.

Several sites list a Toyota / Lexus 30mm Front Axle Lock Nut Remover Kit for around $30.

The axle nut does NOT need to be removed to remove the brake rotor.
