Hi, I have just treated myself to 91/92 GT-R Convertible, and very pleased except that I have the RED 4WS warning light on the dash, things seem to work ok but not always in the right order. I have had the code confirmed by my local Toyota (?50) as 32 "Relating to back up motor". Fault could be motor, control unit, relay or very possibly wiring. Is there a step by step process of elimination such as starting with the cheapest, relays??. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Jim

Check out the files section, could have saved you 50 quid :)have alook through some of the old messages there's a couple of write ups from a long time ago. One person (fergal IIRC) documents removing the back up motor, someone else fixed theres by winding it manually until it unsiezed, someone else had a burnt out motor which they got rewired or brushes replaced. I don't think anyone has ever had a faulty relay as I've lent out a spare set for testing and always got them back :)
