would a 92 v6 frount diff fit strait on a 87 4runner (petrol)

They should have the same front diffs, Toyota stopped making solid axle 4Runners after '85.

thanks i thought so would u no if the gear ratio will be the same how do i find that out

My original answer applies.

Check the VIN plate for the axle code, usually a G and 3 numbers - Gxxx then I can tell you the ratio.
