Hi all,
Our 2005 V6 4runner is our third, and like the 90th and the 97th, they have served us well, and we have been towing a 24ft trailer with the old, and now with the 2005 model we are towing a 27ft Trail Lite. This past winter towed from BC down to California, over to Arizona and home. The 4runner handled the trailer with ease and gave us an average milage of 14 M/Gall ( Imperial ) .
We have never in our sixteen years with 4Runners have had any issues at all.

I know what you mean by loving the 4-runner. My only complaint (in 480,000 miles) is that it really isn't the roomiest interior. What it lacks in room it makes up for in consistancy.

You have no idea how great it felt to read your message!! We're getting a 4 runner (I think) unless a certain someone changes their mind at the last minute. I have been wondering what yr model is the best. It looks like they have all been consistently well made. Looks like we'll settle for the 2006 model once they go on sale next month when the 2007 models are introduced.

I haven't noticed a huge difference from model to model. I know that when I was looking for a new car, even with all my milage, the 4-runner still held it's value. It's definitely a quality vehicle.
