Hi All, Just joined this group to get and provide info. I have a 1993 Celica ST203 4WS. The 4WS warning light is coming on after a few minutes driving. I checked the error codes and found that my speed sensor is faulty, so at least I know what to replace. The below link has been very useful to me. We all know how difficult it is to source 4WS files due to the fact it is only a feature on JAP imports and any documentation that would be useful would be in Japenese. http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47712&st=0&gopid=676152&#\ entry676152 How this helps.

Hi joe, I presume the files you're referring to are the same ones that are stored in the files section on yahoogroups? I haven't seen any others anywhere?

I have not looked in file section yet. I have taken my 4WS system apart (mostly) so I might be able to help, what is the problem you are having with it? Thanks Joe

Hi Alistair, I have been browsing through the array of messages and I can see you have been around:) Question, any idea where the speed sensor is on a GEN6 Celica? All the information I found advises its on the shaft next to the left front wheel, can't locate it at all. Also, I'm assuming there is a seperate speed sensor for the 4WS system, any ideas? Cheers buddy

AFAICR it uses the ABS sensor at the back of the hub.
